It makes me sick to my stomach to make this post, but we have decided to let Chardonnay go to a VERY VERY lucky home. We try to breed the very best lines we can, but this isn't just about the outer looks... it's about improving my lines from the inside out. I try to exceed normal standards by doing what some would think are unnecessaries... and of those things is a reproductive ultrasound. She is extremely perfect and a line I could not wait to work with since the entire litter was phenomenal... but inside, she just wasn't meant to have babies.
She will be 7 months old at the very end of August, is a complete delight to be around. She likes to sit on laps BUT on her terms. If you put her there, she will leave... lol However, if you're sitting there... she likes to come to you especially at night. She purrs nonstop and loves to talk to you. Honestly, she is our vet's favorite to have come because she likes to ride our shoulders. She also likes to keep you company when.... you're sitting on the crown too. 🤷♂️ I think she could adapt in any home, but it will take time... she always growls at new litters (new cats/new scents)... and it takes a few weeks for her to accept the rowdy pints who are trying to play with her, but she does great. I think it would take less time if it wasn't a kitten trying to climb on her all the time.
It's very rare someone gets a chance at my favorite in a litter because I take them all 😂 ...so I will be picky about who she goes to. She's special and will look like a million bucks when she's an adult. She has very thick hair coming in. I am literally on the phone now with the vet to schedule her spay, but she can go to her new home soon after.

No I'm so sorry she can't have babies. I'm sure you're going to find the right fit for that beautiful baby. I am so looking forward to getting one of your beautiful pint kittens. You are truly the best breeder out there! Down to the health testing and that you care so much for those little pints and you wait for the right home to come along. I definitely don't mind waiting at the bar, it is so worth the wait!
What a beautiful little lady. We aren't quite ready to adopt yet, as we have some personal health issues with a close family member, but I will keep reading your hysterical posts and watching your Happy Hours.
