It makes me sick to my stomach to make this post, but we have decided to let Chardonnay go to a VERY VERY lucky home. We try to breed the very best lines we can, but this isn't just about the outer looks... it's about improving my lines from the inside out. I try to exceed normal standards by doing what some would think are unnecessaries... and of those things is a reproductive ultrasound. She is extremely perfect and a line I could not wait to work with since the entire litter was phenomenal... but inside, she just wasn't meant to have babies.
She will be 7 months old at the very end of August, is a complete delight to be around. She likes to sit on laps BUT on her terms. If you put her there, she will leave... lol However, if you're sitting there... she likes to come to you especially at night. She purrs nonstop and loves to talk to you. Honestly, she is our vet's favorite to have come because she likes to ride our shoulders. She also likes to keep you company when.... you're sitting on the crown too. 🤷♂️ I think she could adapt in any home, but it will take time... she always growls at new litters (new cats/new scents)... and it takes a few weeks for her to accept the rowdy pints who are trying to play with her, but she does great. I think it would take less time if it wasn't a kitten trying to climb on her all the time.
It's very rare someone gets a chance at my favorite in a litter because I take them all 😂 ...so I will be picky about who she goes to. She's special and will look like a million bucks when she's an adult. She has very thick hair coming in. I am literally on the phone now with the vet to schedule her spay, but she can go to her new home soon after.

She is so beautiful. Sounds so much like my Jericho AKA: JJBean. He did all the above, but after years of being respectful of his terms, he started becoming much more physically loving and running to me for affection, flopping and wanting belly rubs to being a full-time lap cat when I'd sit down. Sleeping along my side with his head on my arm (not so good in the summers😊). He taught me a lot about personal space and trust. I sooooo miss him. Someday I will have another big cat. I still have two that are geriatrics, 16 and 17. I don't want to disrupt their senior years of peace and relaxation.
We are ready to have a new kitten in our home, but I still want to give the best days to my old prince. He is 12 and has arthritis because he is a big cat. I will adore your beautiful cats and kittens for a far for now, but hope one day we can take home a special pint of your best brew. ❤️
